Private by design

Customer and internal repositories on this forge are private. Access is granted per organisation, per team and per repository, so staff and customers only ever see the code they are entitled to. If you have an account, sign in to reach your projects.

Open source at Padmini

Selected projects are published in the open under the padminix organisation. Anyone may read, clone and build them without an account. Everything else on this forge is confidential and is not visible to the public.

Contributing

We welcome contributions from individuals and other organisations. Self-registration is switched off, so email git-admin@padminisys.com with your name, the project and what you would like to change. We create a contributor account for you; you then fork the repository, push a branch and open a pull request. Padmini maintainers review every change before it is merged.

Git guidelines

Work on a branch. The default branch is protected and must always be releasable.

Keep pull requests small and focused; every change is reviewed before it is merged.

Sign off each commit (git commit -s) to certify the Developer Certificate of Origin. Release tags are signed.

Never commit secrets, credentials or customer data. Use Git LFS for binary artifacts.

Write commit messages that explain why, not only what.

Built for infrastructure

This forge is the source of truth for the Padmini Linux platform, our Ansible collections, execution-environment images and customer delivery pipelines. Every change is versioned, reviewed and auditable: the commit history is the delivery record.

Reliability and security

Encrypted transport, role-based access control, scheduled backups with a documented restore procedure, and prompt security updates on the Forgejo long-term-support line. Found a vulnerability? Write to git-admin@padminisys.com; reports are acknowledged promptly and fixed responsibly.
